About Beech House School
The school is an independent co-educational day school for boys and girls aged 2 ½ to 16 years. Founded in 1922 by Mr and Mrs William Skurr, it comprises a Lower Preparatory Department for children aged 2 ½ to 4, an Upper Preparatory Department for children aged 7 to 11 years and a Senior Department for those aged 11 to 16 years.
Beech House is situated approximately a kilometre from both Rochdale town centre and the railway station. A few metres from the school is a bus stop, providing regular services to Manchester, Bury, Heywood, Middleton, Bamford and Rochdale town centres. Close at hand is the link road to the M62 and M60, which provides access to the Rossendale Valley, Oldham and Manchester.
