About Beech House School

The school is an independent co-educational day school for boys and girls aged 2 to 16 years.  Beech House School has been based at the Manchester Road site since 1850. It comprises a Lower Preparatory Department for children aged 2 to 7 now based at the Broadfield Road site. The Upper Preparatory Department for children aged 8 to 11 years and a Senior Department for those aged 11 to 16 years are still based at the Manchester Road site..


Beech House is situated approximately a kilometre from both Rochdale town centre and the railway station. A few metres from the school is a bus stop, providing regular services to Manchester, Bury, Heywood, Middleton, Bamford and Rochdale town centres. Close at hand is the link road to the M62 and M60, which provides access to the Rossendale Valley, Oldham and Manchester.

RBSGP Year3 & 4 Football
On Tuesday 14th February, love was in the air for a host of teams playing in the RBSGP Y3/4 Tournament in Middleton. With the games being played in excellent spirit, all the participants had a really enjoyable evening.
