Under 9’s gymnastics team travelled to Stoke-on-Trent recently to take part in the Independent Schools National Gymnastics Competition. This was the first time that the school had entered the competition and the pupils were understandably nervous. However, once the first routines got under way their nerves disappeared and they began to enjoy the day. Both under 9 teams finished 4th in each of the boys and girls competitions. This was a credit to all the competitiors. Best placed individual result were Harry Hamilton (11th) and Daisi Daniels (14th). The school received an award for taking part in the event and they were also given endeavour awards to be given out to pupils in their gymnastics classes.
