School Concert

Performers at the School concert

There's more talent than you think and not always where you expect to find it! During the year, I have had the opportunity to see many performances. All are enjoyable, all make me smile, and all have a little of the unexpected. Occasionally, though, there will be a performance that is totally unexpected and almost takes your breath away. It is these performances that, I have long held the view, need showcasing to parents, grandparents and friends. Whether it be a pupil who suddenly takes they're playing ability to a new level, a pupil who finally grasps a technique that you have been demonstrating, or a pupil who performs to you for the first time ever. All need giving a platform to perform and express themselves. This was the year to do it and what a fantastic success it was. A 'Summer Night Soiree' had everything. Music, song, dance and cabaret. Soloists or groups, all participants rose to the occasion and put on an amazing show. Well done, to everyone who took part.
