Youth Speaks

A team of Year 8 girls represented Beech House at the Youth Speaks Intermediate Category District Heat at Falinge Park High School. Holly Gaucas delivered a very impressive and thought-provoking speech on her views on animals being kept in captivity, while Sophie Wilkinson offered her talents as the role of Chairperson. It was Issabella Chapman, however, who came away with the award of Best Proposer Vote of Thanks.  As a team, we were narrowly beaten by Falinge Park, but this has not put the girls off trying again next year!
