Into Film Festival

The Upper Prep department had the pleasure of visiting the Odeon Cinema in Sandbrook Park as part of the Into film festival. The film being shown was Hiromasa Yonebayashi’s Mary and the Witch’s Flower which followed the adventure of a young witch called Mary, as she fought to save her friend Peter from the clutches of evil. All pupils thoroughly enjoyed their cinema trip, and many have been inspired to explore other cinematic works of studio Ponoc who were responsible for this visually stunning film.  The Senior students enjoyed watching ‘Star Wars: Some of us, however, were a bit lost on the plot, especially Mr Dowland who was confused why Darth Vader was still alive! We really should have told him to watch episodes 1-7 first!
