Donkey Sanctuary

The Lower Prep meet Tiny Tim

The Lower Prep excitedly welcomed some very special visitors from The Donkey Sanctuary in Glossop. We played host to Charlie and Tiny Tim, two very friendly rescue donkeys who waited patiently in the chilly playground and even let us stroke them! We learned about how to look after donkeys, what they need to thrive and how read their body language, which helps keep everybody safe. Our animal visitors were particularly interested in the array of colourful bobble hats we were wearing and loved all the attention! Special thanks to all the staff from The Donkey Sanctuary who brought the donkeys to school.
