Geography Field Trip

This year’s year 10 Geography field trip was to the beach at Cleverlys. A very windy start but beautiful sunshine kept the enthusiasm to measure groins and pebbles along the beach. With lots of dog walkers to choose from the pupils had a very easy task to ask them questions about the sea defences.  It was their confidence which held a few pupils back. Encouraged by their peers everyone managed to speak to someone. With spirits raised the pupils just about managed to finish measuring before the tide came in and the beach was no longer there. The day flew by and it wasn’t long before it was time to head back to school. Not without a lovely fish and chips lunch though!
