Beech House had four group games to progress to the knock out stage.
In the shallow end of the pool Beech House showed excellent hand-eye coordination to comfortably see off Barabyns B 5-0 thanks to a hattrick from Anique Ali and two goals from Harry Meekings..
Next up in the deep end Zak Gorton Rigg bagged himself a brace after some excellent defending from Amaara Rafique and Gabby El Hage. Charlie Egerton was excellent as goalkeeeper, and his tactic of throwing the ball to Charlotte Tilley in order for her to swim forward with the ball proved very effective. Beech House won again, 2-1 this time against Clarendon.
The same tactics were not quite as effective in the deep end as Greenbank snatched victory with a goal in the last 30 seconds to beat Beech House 1-0.
That meant that only a win in the final group game would see Beech House progress. Despite Forest taking an early lead Anique Ali was on hand once again to score two goals that turned the game on its head.
In the semi finals Beech House once again fell foul to conceding a goal in the dying seconds. Zak put Beech House ahead but Prenton Prep proved to strong in the end.
The third place play off started badly against Forest Park as Beech House let in two soft goals early. Some strong will and determination saw a fantastic fight back however, as Anique Ali and Harry Meekings both scored two goals each to ensure a third place certificate!
